LAGHI DI CANCANO-ITALIA  (PrensaMare)  La competencia encara sus últimos días y corrió la Etapa 18 (Pinzolo-Laghi di Cancano), de 207 km. Complicadísimo trayecto por las subidas (la mitad superan los 2.000 mteros de altura, y con 7%) y la cantidad de curvas cerradas. Se realizaron pasos por Campo Carlo Magno, Val di Sole, Passo Castrin, Hofmahdjoch y Stevio.

Triunfo de Jai Hindley que se resuleve en los últimos metros, al no poder ser alcanzado por Tao; tercero fue el español Bilbao.

A los 87 km se produjo la fuga de Felline, Tonelli, Rosetto, Guerreiro, Navarro, De Gendt, Holmes, Ganna, Cataldo, Pedrero, Samitier, Meintjes, O'Connor, Swift y Dombrowski. Aventajaban por minuto y medio al pelotón que lideraba Wilco Kelderman. Pocos más adelante, Manuele Boaro (Italia) abandona la carrera.
